Its Thursday and I just started Talentos. Im in computer class and everyone is on their BLOG if they have one. Trujillo (tru - he - oo) is like a desert once you get their. Their are so many stray dogs! Their even on roofs of houses! I miss Memphis,but I will miss Peru once we are back in Memphis. Love, KATE $$

Hey Kate!! I miss you!! Stray dogs!! Oh my?? Any stray cats?? Any snakes or large spiders?? BE CAREFUL!!! What is your apartment like??? How many bedrooms and baths?? WELL HERE IS A SCAREY STORY that happened to SWEETIE this past Thurday morning!! We almost had to bury her.Dot Dot had to take Sweetie to Animal EMERGENCY ROOM!!!!!! It was scarey!!!! Sweetie got her head stuck in Dot Dot Metal Cookbook stand and could hardly breathe or move!! She got it stuck between bars and could not get out . Could have strangled her. So Dot Dot GRABBED Sweetie and metal holder and hauled to ER!! She walks in and yells Emergency!! Emergency!! Then nurse yelled on intercom!! EMERGENCY UP FRONT!!!!ALL FOUR DOCTORS came running up front and took Sweetie and Metal frame in back. They had to cut metal bars to free Sweetie. Soon they brought Sweetie back to Dot Dot and she ws Alive and Showing no stress or brain loss. Wow!! What a day!! Pray for Dot Dot!! She read in her devotional that morning that said "He will provide you strength to handle anything that happens today!!! Phillipians 4:13 in action!!! Wow!! She needed His strength for sure!! Aunt Judy and I are still giggling about it now!!LOVE YOU BUNCHES...AUNT LANNY!!!!!!!!! Tell your Mom and daddy about SWeetie!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Kate! That sounds really cool. I can't believe that there are actually stray dogs on the roofs of houses! On your next post, will you say when you are coming back to Memphis? Madeleine misses you as much as I do. We talk about you all the time! I can't wait until you come back!

kate, i wish i could better picture what your classes are like. Do you have many classes? Are they academic, or mainly like computer classes? I am guessing academic...but again, can't picture. I know it is the Peruvian's school year, so does that mean you are in a regular Peruvian school? How are you making it with the Spanish? Okay, so if you get some time, I would love to know more.
